Safety
The
primary focus of Bigfly is safety.
Our commitment to service and safety is unparalleled. We
will work directly with you and your clients to ensure all
of your needs are met.
The
Bigfly
Commitment to Safety
The key to providing private air charter is the safety monitoring
of each flight. We have established internal safety standards
that are among the highest in the industry and far exceed
the FAA requirements for crew experience.
Bigfly
utilizes CHEQ Reports and TripCHEQ programs from ARG/US.
Aviation Research Group is a leader in the field of corporate
aviation safety and operational data. Their fact-based analysis
of operations, aircraft and crew allows us to make conclusive
decisions by identifying deficiencies.
Operator
Standards
Bigfly
hand selects FAR 135 Operators to participate in the Approved
Provider List. Selected charter operators must go through
an extensive evaluation and approval process. They are required
to submit necessary documentation and are awarded approval
based only on their ability to demonstrate compliance with
our internal standards for safety, aircraft condition, base
location and qualification of crew members.
Crew Qualifications
Bigfly uses the ARG/US TripCHEQ (Charter Evaluation and
Qualification) system to conduct background checks on pilots.
This ensures your crew is properly certified, has adequate
experience, and a clean record. Two crew members are assigned
to all flights and Flight Attendants are provided on all
heavy jets.
Aircraft
Compliance
All approved aircraft have been selected and checked for
aesthetic condition, damage history, and current safety
avionics. Every aircraft in the program is adequately insured.
Refer to the Aircraft page for the wide selection of available
aircraft types.
Bigfly
maintains some of the highest safety standards in the industry.
In order to be certified to participate in our program,
every operator must:
-
Meet the required safety standards of Aviation Research
Group U.S. (ARG/US), and always maintain at least a Gold
rating*
- Have
current and up-to-date official regulatory documentation
- Have
proper Insurance commitments and documentation
- Provide
detailed pilot and crew information on an ongoing basis
* An ARG/US Gold level is assigned to operators who meet
or exceed the established ARG/US standards for equipment
and crew experience as well as consistently provide up-to-date
data. The emphasis is on modern avionics, progressive
maintenance, and proven safety commitments.
